The Aircraft Painter II works under minimum supervision to safely prepare, paint and detail aircraft according to schedule using company quality standards and operating procedures. This position is for the weekend day shift and requires paint experience, knowledge of paint preparation, masking, and application processes, proficiency in using HVLP spray guns and other paint equipment, and experience with sanding, sealing, priming, and color matching. Familiarity with various paint types, coatings, and finishes, along with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, is essential. The role also involves coordinating with supervision and inspection, following standard operating procedures, caring for shop equipment, using sealants and chemicals safely, complying with safety rules, using a material tracking system, assisting with aircraft movement, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
