About The Position

FEAM Aero is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P) to perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft. This role involves performing routine maintenance, airworthiness releases, servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, engines, and components. The technician will troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to ensure fully functioning equipment according to customer-provided Approved Technical Data. A key responsibility is ensuring all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and air carrier/manufacturer manuals, and that all work performed is properly documented. The role also includes collaborating with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.

Requirements

  • Must have a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • Aircraft maintenance experience preferred with emphasis on troubleshooting, daily and turn checks, and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, continually utilize hand, and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places.
  • Ability to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet customer demand.
  • Must be willing to work a rotating 3-on / 4-off, 4-on / 3-off schedule in a 24/7 operation.

Nice To Haves

  • B767-200/300 experience highly desirable.
  • Aircraft technician with B767 experience preferred.
  • Highly skilled in aircraft avionics components and electrical systems.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-facing skills, ability to work with the flight crew and interact in a professional manner.
  • Independent and self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft.
  • Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within scope of approval) returning aircraft to service.
  • Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components.
  • Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain fully functioning equipment according to Approved Technical Data provided by the customer.
  • Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented.
  • Perform line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
  • Troubleshoot to determine malfunctions on aircraft avionics components and electrical systems components, such as airborne navigation/communication systems, weather radar, autopilot, compass systems and accessories component level.
  • Use all mandated safety equipment and comply with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines.
  • Complete all checklists, forms and reports as required in accordance with the company, government and FAA regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in on-the-job training with onsite personnel.
  • Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, or voltmeters.
  • Keep and maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Lay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems, following documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
