About The Position

Strategic Support Solutions is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to fill government aircraft maintenance positions in Greenville, SC. Second shift positions will receive a $5 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

  • Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Minimum of 3 years of related aviation experience in one of the following or similar airframes: Citation 560XL King Airs
  • Able to perform assigned tasks in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and the Inspections Procedures Manual with little or no direct supervision.
  • Have the minimum required tools to perform assigned work.
  • Able to pass a basic aircraft maintenance knowledge test.
  • Able to pass a basic practical test (required for Sheet Metal positions).
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Applicants are subject to employment verification and, possibly, an FBI criminal history records check.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts, systems, and airframe as part of routine scheduled maintenance.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to determine necessary repairs.
  • Repair defective or malfunctioning aircraft parts and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose potential repairs outside of regularly scheduled maintenance.
