About The Position

The CBA Aircraft Mechanic - T45 Program is responsible for maintaining assigned aircraft in accordance with Navy, Manufacturer, and Company Instructions. This role involves using provided test equipment and Ground Support Equipment to perform assigned tasks, reading and interpreting technical data such as Blueprints and schematics, assisting with parts and materials ordering, and documenting work accomplished on Maintenance Action Forms (MAF)/OOMA. The position also requires maintaining cleanliness of the work center and work area, adhering to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules, and complying with the Company Tool Control Program and safety regulations. The role may involve computer input, off-site service on detachments, and performing corrosion control. The mechanic must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance and may be required to work weekends, other shifts, and overtime.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years documented hands-on general experience in this specific aircraft maintenance occupational field, or the military or commercial equivalent, or documented OJT for T/M/S (type/model/series).
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be familiar with aircraft systems, tools, drawings, schematics and normal safety requirements.
  • Must be able to meet any Government/company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Completed High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

  • FAA A&P License is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for adhering to Company Tool Control Program.
  • Comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities, and job assignment.
  • Ensure proper operation and use of special test equipment and Ground Support Equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
  • May be required to perform simple computer input functions.
  • May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.
  • Perform corrosion control cleaning and removal as required utilizing appropriate safety precautions.
  • Assist when directed to ensure safety, security, and preservation of Government-owned and Company-owned equipment.
  • Perform other reasonably related incidental duties when directed within the job classification.
