About The Position

This role involves maintaining and repairing aircraft structures and related components, including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. The Aircraft Mechanic will apply technical knowledge of A&P systems to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, ensuring aircraft are restored to a safe, airworthy condition. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records in compliance with FAA and company requirements, keeping the facility and equipment clean and organized, and meeting all deadlines. Effective communication regarding job status, shop issues, and parts delays is essential. The mechanic must ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with all applicable regulations and directives.

Requirements

• Min 2 yrs experience with turbine rotorcraft required
• Current A&P license with verifiable experience required
• Valid Drivers' License and clean MVR required; passport may be required
• Ability to meet physical demands - non climate-controlled hangar facility subject to weather conditions, long periods of standing, bending, stooping to work in restricted spaces, routine lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Airbus, MD, Robinson or Bell aircraft strongly desired
• Understanding of and experience in a Part 145 repair station desired

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aircraft structures and related components including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Apply technical knowledge of A&P systems to determine equipment malfunctions and restore aircraft to safe, airworthy condition.
• Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
• Maintain the facility in a clean and organized manner. Maintain equipment, tools in serviceable and working condition.
• Meet all deadlines, communicating to supervisor / manager when circumstances may prevent on-time completion. Assure proper information is shared: job status, shop issues, parts delays, etc.
• Ensure aircraft are safely maintained in accordance with the Airworthiness Standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, service/tech bulletins and standard practices.
