About The Position

Strategic Support Solutions is actively seeking three (3) Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Maintenance Technicians. The ideal candidates will possess proven, hands-on maintenance experience with corporate jet airframes—specifically Citation, Phenom, and Beechcraft/Beechjet platforms. We are looking for self-motivated professionals who adhere strictly to safety guidelines, deliver high-quality craftsmanship, and are capable of working effectively in a fast-paced hangar environment. Candidates with demonstrated leadership qualities may be considered for a Lead Tech designation.

Requirements

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (Required).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience performing line or heavy maintenance on one or more of the following platforms: Cessna Citation series, Embraer Phenom 100/300 series, Beechcraft / Beechjet 400A / Hawker 400XP series
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations (Part 91/145), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins (SBs).
  • Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools appropriate for corporate jet maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong manual dexterity, high attention to detail, and solid communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, stand/kneel for extended periods, and work safely around aircraft equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of corporate jet maintenance experience with proven capability in leading shift teams, coordinating workflow, supervising sign-offs, and mentoring junior technicians.
  • Specialized training or factory school certificates on Citation, Phenom, or Beechjet airframes.
  • Active Avionics knowledge or IA (Inspection Authorization) certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on civilian jet aircraft (Citation, Phenom, Beechjet) in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and company standards.
  • Conduct airframe structure inspections, engine performance checks, and system diagnostics (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and electrical systems).
  • Complete accurate FAA documentation, aircraft logbook entries, work orders, and maintenance tracking logs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate efficiently with team members on the first-shift jet crew to meet operational deadlines while prioritizing safety and airworthiness.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including proper care of shop tools, calibrated test equipment, and GSE (Ground Support Equipment).
  • Assist in ordering required parts, components, and materials for ongoing maintenance projects.
