About The Position

The Aircraft Mechanic performs aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable, approved, current, and authorized maintenance program data and publications. The role delivers maintenance services according to customer policies and procedures, complies with applicable FAR requirements, and completes and signs for aircraft maintenance inspections and services. The mechanic also follows company safety practices, documents applicable additional charges, maintains effective customer contact about work accomplished or in progress, and works to ensure customer satisfaction. The position is based at HNL; the job description does not specify a workplace type.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in line maintenance.
Valid driver's license and A&P certificate.
Must have the tools listed in the Employee Hand Tool List.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Must be able to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

Deliver services according to applicable customer policies and procedures.
Comply with applicable FAR requirements, station codes, and manuals.
Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and services according to customer instructions and procedures, and sign for completed actions.
Implement the company's established safety policies and practices.
Document additional charges as applicable to each customer.
Maintain effective and positive contact with customers regarding work accomplished or in progress.
Ensure customer satisfaction with services.
Keep AML advised of work-related matters.
Inspect equipment before and after use for safety, condition, and serviceability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
