About The Position

Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS), an S³ Inc. company, is hiring an Aircraft Mechanic III - Avionics/Electrician to work at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The position is contingent on award of contract. The mechanic performs moderate-difficulty aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification, including work on aircraft structures and components, engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other mechanical systems. The role may involve specialization in sheet metal, electrical work, avionics, or other aircraft systems disciplines. The mechanic uses technical knowledge and publications to diagnose malfunctions and restore aircraft equipment, contributes to maintenance engineering and cost-of-damage documentation, and may recommend changes to maintenance work orders. The role requires prioritizing work to meet schedules and occasionally leading teams on complex aircraft tasks. Technical guidance is available from a supervisor or higher-level technician. The incumbent may also make entries in aircraft logs and records. The position requires an active DOW Secret Security Clearance.
