ACET is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II - Pneudraulics/Hydraulics at our Fairchild AFB WA location. This role requires a combination of experience to repair engines, sheet metal, and structural, hydraulic, electrical, power train, and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty to meet assigned missions. The position also provides input to Maintenance Engineering Changes (MEC), prepares Estimated Cost of Damage (ECOD), and assists in recommending changes to Maintenance Work Orders (MWO). Individuals must be able to prioritize workloads and lead teams through more complex relevant tasks. Mechanic IIs can inspect Mechanic IIs and Is. This mechanic maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty. They also maintain and repair aircraft components including, but not limited to, flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. The role applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions and uses expertise to restore equipment condition and/or operation. Additionally, it involves applying comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer’s manuals.
