Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduates of approved O-Level training, AME School, manufacturer, or Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit for specific T/M/S egress systems.
Completed and able to document the appropriate T/M Navy Egress Class "C" school.
Minimum five years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
Minimum three years T/M aircraft maintenance experience for the specific T/M aircraft hired to maintain.
Experienced in the maintenance of aircraft ejection seats, aircraft air conditioning systems, canopy systems, canopy jettison/fracturing systems, fire warning/extinguishing systems, Onboard Oxygen Generating Systems repair/troubleshooting, aircraft environmental systems maintenance, and aircraft pressurization systems troubleshoot oxygen systems, repair and test oxygen regulators and Liquid Oxygen (LOX) converters removed from the aircraft.
Valid driver's license.
Eligible to qualify for and able to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) secret security clearance.
Released from military service with an Honorable Discharge.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems.
Perform flight line essential services as directed to daily Flight Schedule.
Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards is required.
Routine ordnance loading will require team lifts of ordnance items up to 167 pounds’ load share per member, in accordance with standard USN procedures.
