About The Position

Vali Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II (AH) to join our team. This mechanic maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty. They maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. The role requires applying technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition or operation. This position also involves applying comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
  • Working knowledge of technical publications.
  • Ability to receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
  • Ability to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.
  • Ability to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience in aircraft maintenance within the last six (6) years on assigned airframe.
  • Proficiency in Aircraft Notebook (ACN).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to meet the necessary security requirements for access to sensitive systems and facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair.
  • A foundational understanding of electrical theory.
  • Extensive familiarity with specialized aircraft tools, including but not limited to, test equipment, torque wrenches, and dial indicators.

  • Demonstrate leadership by guiding teams through complex, aircraft-related tasks as and when necessary.
  • Effectively prioritize workload, ensuring organized and timely completion of assigned projects.
  • Maintaining aircraft records in customer-provided aircraft management systems (ACN/SAP).
