About The Position

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician inspects mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems and diagnoses malfunctions. Aircraft maintenance technicians also ensure compliance with aviation safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate. Continue training as needed to maintain certification.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid unrestricted driver’s license
Good communication skills (verbal, written, and radio)
Positive attitude towards productivity, safety, and quality maintenance
Available to work shifts and overtime as necessary.
Must have own set of tools.
Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.
Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance work on company Embraer ERJ-145 and other aircraft that may be added to our fleet, at our maintenance bases including but not limited to dismantling, overhauling repairing, assembling all aircraft parts and components.
Perform routine releases returning aircraft to service.
Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company, manufacturer, and FAA requirements.
Maintain work area, tools, and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions.
Collaborate with appropriate Inspection personnel (RII)
Ensure hazardous materials storage is frequently inspected and ensure proper labeling, containers, and location in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir.
Other duties as assigned.
