Performs preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with standards and regulations. This role involves performing maintenance mechanic duties both inside and outside the hangar, as well as at the airport terminal. The technician will troubleshoot all aircraft systems, execute maintenance work orders, and use necessary tools and equipment to ensure work is completed according to industry practices. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the serviceability and correctness of parts and materials used, adhering to material handling procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment. The position also requires accurate documentation of all work performed, including computer system transactions, and participation in shift turnover reports. Additionally, the technician will provide coaching and on-the-job training, participate in meetings, and suggest improvements for safety and cost-effectiveness. Familiarity with the GMM and aircraft manuals is essential, as is keeping licenses and certifications up-to-date. The role also includes other duties as assigned.
