About The Position

Guardian Flight is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of their fleet, specifically supporting the Pilatus PC-12 airframe. This role is crucial for ensuring the team can safely maintain and deliver timely, high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients. The position is full-time and located in Jackson, MS.

Requirements

Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
Valid State issued Driver's license
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
Knowledge of EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

Pilatus PC-12 maintenance experience
FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
Autopilot maintenance experience
Avionics and electrical repair experience

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs.
Provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment.
Regularly update the equipment tracking log and place replacement requests when necessary.
Document part expenditures.
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required.
Adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
