Global Medical Response (GMR) is an authorized provider of the DOD SkillBridge program, offering U.S. Military Service Members the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience in the medical response industry through training, internships, and on-the-job (OJT) experience. The SkillBridge program with GMR will run for up to 180 days, during which participants retain their military pay and benefits. This program is for active-duty U.S. Military members in the final six months of their obligated service. Upon successful completion of the SkillBridge program, participants may be eligible for immediate consideration for open positions. GMR/Air Evac Lifeteam Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) are responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of the fleet across multiple locations, supporting various aircraft types including B206, B407, EC130, or EC135. This role is crucial for ensuring safe and timely transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.
