About The Position

This is a full-time opportunity for a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of the fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support EC135 airframes. This role is key to ensuring the team can safely maintain and deliver timely, high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Requirements

EC135 Maintenance experience
Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience
A minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
Valid State issued Driver's license
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
Knowledge of EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
Related experience under CFR Part 135
Autopilot maintenance experience
Avionics and electrical repair experience

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs.
Provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment.
Regularly update the equipment tracking log.
Place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required.
Adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
