About The Position
This is not a technical aircraft laborer. Incumbents at this level are non-certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and, under the direction of a certificated technician, will clean aircraft and parts, assist in aircraft maintenance, and work in the shop.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class-C Driver’s License
- Basic maintenance procedures and shop safety
- Work in a shop environment
- Follow instructions
- Work cooperatively with others
Responsibilities
- Clean aircraft and parts
- Assist in aircraft maintenance
- Work in the shop
- Manipulate hand and power tools
- Operate forklift and tow tugs
- This position may be assigned other duties and tasks in the program as directed.
