The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintenance functions of assigned aircraft and is responsible for supervising day-to-day maintenance tasks on the aircraft, support equipment, and special tools. This role involves managing all aspects of aircraft maintenance, ensuring work is scheduled and performed safely and efficiently. The supervisor will oversee maintenance staff, including performance reviews, issue resolution, and task delegation. Responsibilities include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control, inspections, and routine to complex maintenance of aircraft, subsystems, and components. The role also entails performing engineering work orders for modifications and upgrades, interpreting technical manuals, and repairing or replacing components. Additionally, the supervisor will provide guidance on technical orders, hazardous materials, and maintain equipment schedules and parts inventories. They will offer technical guidance to Engineering staff, ensure proper employee training on company equipment per OSHA regulations, and monitor annual training requirements. The role may also involve supervising aircraft/equipment movement, conducting foreign object damage prevention walks, meeting with customers and senior leadership, and periodic travel to support customer missions.
