About The Position

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will assist members of the Facilities and Safety Department using a wide range of skills and abilities. Including but not limited to trouble shooting, repair, maintaining equipment and facilities.

Requirements

  • Must adhere to all of Yulista’s Security and Safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Operation of company vehicles to drive to multiple locations.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista's goals.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems, evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate complex information to others as well as to present information to a group.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, etc.
  • Frequent lifting and physical requirements including but not limited too stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders, and ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
  • Must be able to follow directions, communicate effectively, in both written and oral communications.
  • Must be able to work alone with little or no supervision.
  • Must work well with others, manage time effectively and efficiently, and be able to adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management and regulatory agencies.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent with 1 to 3 years of work related experience and/or education preferred.
  • Uses proper methods for lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Proper use of common hand and power tools.
  • Understands and uses safety practices common to building, maintenance, and construction.
  • Understands practices, processes, and materials used in building, maintenance, and construction.
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • A hands free device must be used when making phone calls while driving.
  • Must abide by ALL traffic laws and regulations while operating a motor vehicle for business purposes.
  • Texting, consuming alcoholic beverages, and other illegal activity while driving or in the possession of a company vehicle is prohibited.
  • Must have the ability to pass a drug screening and complete a background investigation.
  • This position requires a Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various daily housekeeping tasks, responsible for maintaining work and storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Perform other various administrative duties as needed, assigned and/or required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
  • Maintains assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure availability when needed.
  • Prepares written materials which documents activities and/or conveys information.
  • Transports tools, equipment and supplies required for the job.
  • Trouble shoots systems to identify problems in order to effect repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles, such as replenishing fuel and monitoring fluid levels.
