About The Position

This is a job at a Depot Level repair facility maintaining various types of aircraft, including but not limited to AV-8, C-130, C-2, E-2, EA-6B, F/A-18, H-1, H-53, H-60, MQ-8, P-3, P-8, F-35, and V-22. Military aviation platform experience is a plus. The role involves setting up and operating conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines, as well as related equipment for the manufacture, rework, and repair of aircraft parts and components. Machining operations will be performed on conventional and CNC machine tools such as grinders, milling machines, lathes, and drills. The machinist will be responsible for reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, sketches, work documents, aircraft technical documents, manuals, bulletins, and directives, and producing assigned work according to established standards. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have experience on 2, 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret blueprints, drawing, sketches, work documents etc.
  • Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation
  • Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a NACI which could include a credit check

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 4 years of aircraft machining experience preferred
  • Military aviation platform experience is a plus.
