About The Position
This position is CONTINGENT on contract award. S&K Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician to maintain aircraft, engine, component, inspection, and maintenance records supporting P-8A aircraft at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The position performs maintenance data entry, review, correction, reconciliation, reporting, and records-management functions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of aircraft logs and records, maintenance administration, or aviation maintenance data experience
- Experience using Navy aviation maintenance systems, including NALCOMIS/OOMA
- Working knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program records and documentation requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess and maintain a current Secret security clearance
- Must be willing to travel when required
Responsibilities
- Maintain aircraft, engine, component, inspection, and maintenance records
- Enter, retrieve, review, and correct maintenance data in NALCOMIS/OOMA
- Review maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Track inspections, technical directives, configuration data, and time-change items
- Research and resolve maintenance-record discrepancies
- Prepare reports, archives, backups, and maintenance-data extracts
- Support aircraft transfers, detachments, audits, inspections, and records reviews
- Protect sensitive, controlled, and classified information
- Perform other duties as assigned, including TDY or travel if required
