About The Position

The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft at the airport. This role requires performing simple mathematical functions related to weight, measurement, and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling. The position also involves maintaining a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
  • Perform basic math calculations.
  • Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must pass pre-employment medical and Drug testing.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Must pass driver’s test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver’s license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA).
  • Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
  • Must Pass Pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Prior Ramp experience preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
  • Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment.
  • Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
  • Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

Benefits
