About The Position

Aircraft Detailers support Prime Appearance, a subsidiary of PrimeFlight Aviation, by cleaning and detailing aircraft interiors and exteriors to maintain their appearance. The role uses specialized cleaning products, equipment, and techniques for different surfaces and components while avoiding damage to aircraft structures and delicate areas. Detailers follow safety and environmental regulations and work efficiently to meet deadlines. The position is part-time at APF Airport, with a listed schedule of 8 AM–8 PM and days off on Wednesday and Sunday. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must communicate effectively in English in reading, writing, and speaking.
Must be able to access and interpret printed and electronic information, including using iPads/tablets, computers, and mobile devices.
Must communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in person and electronically.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must be eligible to acquire required credentials and clearances, as applicable, including FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal credentials.
Must be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft.
Use specialized cleaning products and equipment to clean and protect aircraft surfaces.
Inspect aircraft for stains, damage, or wear and report findings to management.
Detail aircraft according to airline specifications and standards.
Clean and sanitize aircraft cabins, including seats, carpets, windows, and lavatories.
Apply protective coatings to aircraft exteriors to preserve paint and prevent corrosion.
Work with maintenance teams to ensure aircraft are cleaned during scheduled maintenance.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and keep them in good working condition.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Coordinate with team members to complete detailing tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Handle delicate aircraft components carefully during cleaning.
Ensure all aircraft areas are cleaned with attention to detail.
Work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
Build effective relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
Meet PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
