About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Aircraft Component Technician assists aircraft maintenance personnel in the performance of aviation maintenance activities. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting maintenance manuals and required technical data to remove, clean, process, and repair aircraft components. This role also involves performing miscellaneous duties to support aircraft maintenance personnel performing maintenance tasks. The position requires a mechanical aptitude, with mechanical experience being preferred. The technician must be able to properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment, comply with safety rules and procedures, use protective equipment as required, and be alert for unsafe conditions. Computer literacy is also necessary. This is an entry-level position that requires extensive on-the-job training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• None (entry level)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must have the ability to properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment
• Ability to comply with safety rules and procedures. Use protective equipment as required and be alert for unsafe conditions
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must have computer literacy

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical experience is preferred
