Under close supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements. This role involves developing and applying basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment appropriate to the area of specialization. The technician will perform repairs on mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies by removing, repairing, or replacing defective parts and/or fabricating replacement parts. All activities must adhere to Repair Station requirements, ensuring parts and assemblies meet conformance. The role also includes setting up and operating test equipment to perform functional and operational tests of mechanical and electrical aircraft components for return to service, inspecting detail parts using blueprints and manuals, and maintaining required paperwork in accordance with FAA Repair Station requirements. A clean and orderly work area, along with compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, is also expected.
