About The Position

The Aircraft Cleaner Lead is responsible for overseeing the cleaning of the aircraft’s interior, ensuring that they meet specific hygiene and safety standards. This role involves coordinating with a team of aircraft cleaners, providing training and support where necessary. The Aircraft Cleaner Lead also inspects aircraft after cleaning to guarantee the quality of work and compliance with airline and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, this position may require managing inventory of cleaning supplies, liaising with airline staff, and ensuring timely completion of cleaning tasks.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • 1 year of hospitality or aircraft cleaning experience
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate with a team of aircraft cleaners
  • Responsible for cleaning aircraft and assigned tasks
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with aviation standards and safety regulations
  • Train new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipment
  • Inspect aircraft cabins for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stocks
  • Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to minimize aircraft downtime
  • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Liaise with airline representatives and airport staff for cleaning requirements
  • Handle and report lost and found items according to company and airport policies
  • Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolution
  • Respond to emergency cleaning situations as required
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and schedules
  • Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning team
  • Working under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlines
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
