Requirements

  • 4 years of experience as a corporate, commercial, or military pilot
  • Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot License and a valid Instrument Rating for the category of aircraft operated
  • Must maintain PIC qualifications on at least one type of company aircraft
  • Knowledge of the content of the Aviation Operations Manual, Training Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and the provisions of Titles 14 and 49 of the CFRs and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift 40 pounds to shoulder level due to baggage loading and unloading requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Holds a type rating or qualification for at least one of the following helicopters: S-76 or H-160
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safe, efficient flight operations in accordance with all applicable CFRs, the AIM, AFM, the Constellation AOM, and applicable country/local regulations.
  • Supervise the copilot/SIC and other crewmembers assigned to the trip.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Be solutions focused and communicate with other members of the Transportation Department, the company, and outside vendors as needed to accomplish assigned trips.
  • Carry primary responsibility for the safe transportation of passengers and additional crewmembers and emphasize a strong safety culture within the Transportation Department.
  • Participate in safety meetings, incident debriefings, and implement safety recommendations.
  • Comply with all security protocols to protect passengers, crew, and the aircraft, and remain prepared to handle emergency situations in flight or on the ground.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Emergency Response Plan and apply the correct initial response actions during emergency drills or actual emergencies.
  • Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) by complying with all regulations, safety best practices, and industry protocols.
  • Utilize the Safety Report process, Continuous Improvement process, and other procedures to ensure a healthy safety culture exists within the Transportation Department.
  • Assist the Chief Pilot in ensuring all flights and flight crew members adhere to relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Train and evaluate flight crew members, including pilots and other operational personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance and support, oversee training programs and records, offer ongoing coaching and feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in the CRM for all business development activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency within flight operations.
  • Implement new technologies, training programs, or best practices to enhance productivity and safety.
  • Accept and perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
