About The Position

The Care Flight Dispatcher (Air Medical Communications Specialist) position is responsible for the coordination of all air medical resources that REMSA Health operates or contracts with. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving calls from requestors, prioritizing simultaneous requests, dispatching of the appropriate aviation asset, maintaining contact with requestors, and maintaining appropriate records for every flight request.

Requirements

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills required
Ability to multi-task in a highly computerized environment required
Ability to follow detailed and structured process, while providing a high level of customer service required
Ability to type 30 WPM required
Ability to work as a team

Nice To Haves

2+ years of prior customer service experience preferred
Medical terminology knowledge preferred
Prior or current EMT certification desirable, but not required
Prior air medical dispatch experience a plus
