About The Position

C. K. Masonry Construction Company, LLC maintains contracts with municipalities and paving contractors in Middle Tennessee to adjust manhole and valve box castings on city streets to the proper elevation for paving. The Air Hammer Operator supports this work by operating an air hammer to loosen asphalt next to the structures. The role also involves placing asphalt around excavations, moving heavy cast iron, shoveling, and raking.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Tennessee driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
• Be able to operate a 94-pound air hammer with an asphalt bit attachment.
• Be able to place asphalt around excavations and periodically lift or move heavy cast iron, shovel, and rake during a shift.
• Adhere to company and OSHA safety practices.
