About The Position

Noblis is hiring an on-call Nuclear Stockpile Advisor to serve as the Government’s primary POC and to provide overall guidance for all nuclear stockpile stewardship requirements. The Stockpile Advisor shall be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and recommending actions for USG approval related to nuclear stockpile sustainment. Additionally, the Stockpile Advisor shall attend and participate in nuclear stockpile related technical discussions, meetings, conferences, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and other related forums with community stakeholders. The Stockpile Advisor shall be knowledgeable of current nuclear stockpile at the National, DoD, Joint, and Service level and on current and emerging nuclear weapon systems and capabilities. The Stockpile Advisor shall be familiar with, interact, and coordinate with DoD and non-DoD offices and organizations whose roles involve the nuclear enterprise, nuclear stockpile, and nuclear weapon systems, whether directly or indirectly. Responsibilities: Reviewing, analyzing, and recommending actions for USG approval related to nuclear stockpile sustainment. Attending and participate in nuclear stockpile related technical discussions, meetings, conferences, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and other related forums with community stakeholders. Serving as the primary contact for customers on assigned projects, leveraging knowledge of customer operations and business. Responsible for attracting, developing, engaging and retaining talent, encouraging innovation and collaborative problem-solving, and building a high-performing team. Working on complex issues/problems of large scope, impact and importance, possessing and applying advanced knowledge and seasoned understanding of business/industry environment. Working in one or more business or specialized professional/technical areas; contribute innovative ideas to multiple projects within the division. Applying complex methods/skills autonomously to develop novel, customized solutions; independently resolve complex problems impacting cost and efficiency. Demonstrating exceptional initiative, creativity and innovation skills; make significant contributions to policy and procedure development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree & 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree & 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree & 11 years of experience. In lieu of a degree will also consider a high school diploma & 14 years of experience.
  • Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of nuclear stockpile stewardship requirem ents at the National, DoD, Joint, and Service level.
  • Demonstrated experience working and coordinating with DoD and non-DoD offices and organizations whose roles involve the nuclear enterprise, nuclear stockpile, and nuclear weapons systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience working in complex environments with multiple POCs.
  • Demonstrated experience in generating briefings; drafting information, point, white, and decision papers; drafting testimony and articles for publication; and, preparing senior Government personnel for public speaking engagements.
