The Air Export Supervisor will be responsible for reviewing and supporting day-to-day quotations, ensuring accuracy of local charges and agreement quotes to minimize branch losses. This role requires thorough knowledge of the air export product, including Breakbulk, Gateway, and Pricing. The supervisor will plan and support huddles and monthly meetings to discuss market intelligence and delegate workloads. They will play an active role in the transition of new business and updates to existing business, aiming to grow department revenue in line with budget targets. The position involves implementing new system changes and enhancements, suggesting system/process improvements, and assisting the Manager with employee performance evaluations and goal setting. Additionally, the supervisor will proactively work to maintain accounts payment within 30 days, ensure company credit procedures are followed, manage accounts payable to vendors, and handle intercompany accounting discrepancies. Promoting compliance with company policies and regulations, maintaining positive relationships with the Trade Compliance Manager, and supporting compliance efforts are also key aspects of this role.
