About The Position

This is an Air Export Customer Service Agent role in Salt Lake City. The position involves external communication with customers, providers, agents, and the EI Network, as well as reporting and coordination with the OPS team for timely process flow. The agent will be responsible for arranging international shipments, meeting customer service standards, coordinating service provider requests, adhering to compliance standards, managing customer reports, and supporting customers with inquiries regarding compliance, documentation, and export regulations. The role also includes providing general pricing information per customer requests.

Requirements

6 months to 1 year of Expeditors Operational Experience
Excellent written communication skills
Demonstrated customer service skills and proven interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Utilize AEX Workboard for Reporting and Monitoring
Interact with customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards
Coordinate all service provider requests or escalations and communicate requirements to OPS team
Adhere to strict compliance standards and requirements pertaining to both internal and external regulations in accordance with controls
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and are in place and updated as applicable
Handle all overseas communications in regard to Customer Service specific requests or coordinate with OPS team for support
Manage all Customer Reports and ensure they are sent out on required cadence
Support customers with inquiries regarding compliance, documentation and export regulations and provide resources to them if required
Understand and provide general pricing per requests to customers
