About The Position

The Air Entanglement Operator is responsible for operating Air Entanglement machines, which involve using compressed air to entangle yarn ends. This role requires setting up machines via HMI, creating correct yarn blends, cleaning air jets, managing cone counts, running yarn orders, maintaining quality, building boxes or preparing racks for packing, performing housekeeping duties, labeling yarn, and moving yarn buggies. The position also involves loading cones into magazines and placing cones onto conveyor belts into boxes or trays. Requirements

• Ability to push a full buggy of yarn (up to 400 lbs).
• Ability to load cones in a magazine.
• Ability to place yarn cones from a conveyor belt to a box and/or tray.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine properly on the HMI screen.
• Create correct blend on the creel per the spec sheet.
• Clean Air Jets
• Manage Cone Counts Accurately
• Start and run yarn orders according to shop order.
• Maintain Quality
• Build boxes for packing or get racks depending on destination.
• Housekeeping of area
• Label yarn with correct identification.
• Push a full buggy of yarn (up to 400 lbs) to pack out area.
• Load cones in a magazine.
• Place yarn cones from a conveyor belt to a box and/or tray.
• Other duties as instructed by supervisor.
