Requirements

  • 0 Years of Experience
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and diagrams, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Frequent hand gripping and fine motor manipulation to assemble parts, operate tools, and handle small components.
  • Ability to use hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, cutters, etc.) with consistent grip strength throughout the shift.
  • Repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand or remain in a fixed position for long periods (10 hours depending on shift).
  • Frequent reaching with hands and arms to retrieve parts, operate fixtures, or position components.
  • Consistently lifting up to 25 lbs throughout the shift, as required for handling materials or assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts, components, or products according to work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards.
  • Interpret work orders, production routers, bills of materials (BOMs), product manuals, and/or verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks.
  • Understand and comply with all ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Effectively uses a variety of hand tools to assemble components with precision and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Package, box, and label products according to company standards
  • Complete all required daily paperwork and update production boards.
  • Perform 5S audits and complete daily checklists.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing process improvement suggestions.
  • Use daily discomfort logs and report any sickness or injury, regardless of severity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area through daily housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Be flexible and willing to move to different work areas based on production needs.
  • Be available to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
  • Participate in team huddles, group projects, and one‑on‑one communications.
