About The Position

This is a part-time adjunct faculty position at Chattahoochee Technical College, responsible for providing instruction and guidance to students in the Air Conditioning Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) and/or Diploma program. The instructor will perform all aspects of instruction, including lecture, lab activities, student advisement, progress evaluation, and maintaining required documentation. Duties also include supervising lab setup/take down and ensuring lab safety. This is a temporary, part-time position appointed on a per academic term basis.

Requirements

A minimum of a Diploma in Air Conditioning from a Technical or Community College.
Must meet minimum requirements before scheduling an interview.
Applicant is responsible for ensuring official/unofficial transcripts are on EZHr.

Nice To Haves

Two years industry experience and/or relevant training and certifications are preferred.
An Associate Degree in a related field.
A State of Georgia Conditioned Air license.

Responsibilities

Providing guidance and instruction necessary to prepare students with the technical competencies essential for the Air Conditioning industry.
Performing all aspects of instruction as an adjunct instructor for the Air Conditioning Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) and/or Diploma program.
Conducting lecture and lab sessions.
Engaging in instructional activities.
Providing student advisement.
Evaluating students’ progress.
Maintaining all required documentation.
Performing and/or supervising lab set up/take down.
Ensuring lab safety requirements are met.
Fulfilling other duties as defined by The Technical College System of Georgia.
