About The Position

Performs HVAC mechanical/electrical duties at the factory trained level of proficiency on chilled water systems, commercial VRF systems and secondary HVAC air and water systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five years of journey level experience in a VRF mechanical and electrical field.
• Factory certified training from VRF manufacturer.
• Proficient with commercial DX systems, central plant equipment, and secondary HVAC air and water systems, pumps, heat exchangers.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and have a good driving history. May not have more than two moving violations in a three-year period.
• Type III certification for refrigerant recovery/recycling as established by the EPA.

Nice To Haves

• Formal OJT or Apprentice Program.
• Completion of a two-year vocational training program or apprenticeship training program in related HVAC field.
• Five years of experience in commercial HVAC mechanical and electrical field.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• University certification.
