Requirements

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to successfully communicate with others

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of cargo (mail, express, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft
• Ramp transfers of cargo where required
• Receiving, delivering, and physical handling of freight and company material
• Transporting furnishings and supplies to and from aircraft
• Assisting in loading, unloading and racking both filled and empty drums
• Performing routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment
• Monitoring security of facility
• Complying with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations
• Remaining cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and reporting security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program
• Loading and unloading aircraft of cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. in and out of aircraft within confined cargo areas
• Pushing, pulling, and positioning loaded containers on rollers with/to aircraft
• Transporting cargo to and from aircraft driving using depth perception to negotiate vehicle with attached carts through congested area
• Reading "off-load" sheets to determine destination of cargo
