About The Position

As the Air and Emissions Senior Manager, you will serve as the primary architect and overseer of our company’s air quality compliance framework. Your mission is to ensure seamless adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while proactively mitigating regulatory risks. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will provide technical guidance, mentor a specialized team, and partner with senior leadership and cross-functional departments (Engineering, Operations, Production, and HSE) to integrate compliance into our core business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 8-10 years of dedicated experience in air quality compliance, permitting, and emissions management.
  • Proven track record in a supervisory role with the ability to mentor technical staff.
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is required. We specifically prefer candidates with experience across both upstream production and midstream assets (gathering, compression, and processing).
  • In-depth knowledge of Title V, PSD, NSPS, and NESHAP regulations
  • Exceptional analytical skills to assess risk and implement long-term mitigation strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
  • A flexible, professional approach to managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong familiarity with air regulations in Ohio and Pennsylvania is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of air permitting, including Title V, PSD, NSPS, and NESHAP. You will ensure all permit conditions are met and applications are renewed timely.
  • Lead the development and submission of annual emissions inventories, ensuring high-fidelity recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Oversee critical field activities, including stack testing and fugitive emissions monitoring, to ensure data accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • Interpret evolving regulatory changes and update internal programs to maintain a "compliance-ahead" posture.
  • Supervise and mentor the Air and Emissions team, providing technical review of work and supporting professional growth.
  • Work closely with Operations and Engineering on project planning to assess how operational changes impact emissions and permitting.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, external consultants, and partners to maintain transparent and professional communications.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resource planning, and forecasts for all air quality initiatives.
