AIML - Sr Lead Engineer, Evaluation
About The Position
We are looking for an A/B experimentation engineering leader to help design and build the next generation of online evaluation platform. You’ll work with the teams and technical leaders at the heart of Apple, building cutting-edge customer experiences. Working at the intersection of data, product, and A/B testing, you’ll drive the culture of experimentation throughout Apple. With your expert technical skills, you’ll set technical strategy for the platform, stay connected to the details, and build the scalable system that drives better features, better software, and better products for billions of customers.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience as a technical engineering leader.
- Proven experience leading teams that have built and scaled experimentation or A/B testing platforms in a service-oriented architecture.
- Deep understanding of the statistical foundations of experimentation, including the trade-offs of experiment design.
- Strong track record of translating ambiguous, long-horizon problems into concrete engineering plans.
- Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to align diverse stakeholders on shared infrastructure.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with on-device or embedded system experimentation.
- Background in modern evaluation systems and programs.
- Background working with machine learning or AI-driven product teams.
- Hands-on experience in conducting experiments in the operating system layer.
