About The Position

This position involves providing direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and adhering to safety protocols. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Requirements

Ability to provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
Ability to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Ability to assist with meals and feeding.
Ability to transport Residents and assist with walking.
Ability to assist with toileting and changing incontinent briefs.
Ability to change bed linens and make beds.
Ability to record vital signs and intake/output.
Ability to aid in resident activities.
Ability to report observations and chart information.
Ability to clean assigned areas.
Knowledge of proper cleaning solutions and equipment.
Familiarity with Universal Work Precautions.
Understanding of proper use of facility equipment.
Ability to perform housekeeping duties.
Ability to report equipment issues.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to meet the Residents physical, cognitive, and emotional needs with respect and dignity.
Assist Residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Assist Residents with meals, hydration, and feeding if necessary.
Transport Residents and assist with walking.
Assist with toileting and changing incontinent briefs.
Change bed linens and make beds.
Record temperature, blood pressure, pulse & respiration rates, food & fluid intake and output, as directed.
Aid in the delivery of activities for resident entertainment, socialization, exercise, relaxation, creativity, and spiritual fulfillment.
Report observations of changes in Residents' well-being to supervisor and chart details on the electronic system.
Clean assigned areas following the cleaning schedule.
Learn and demonstrate proper use of cleaning solutions and equipment.
Familiarize self with Universal Work Precautions.
Understand proper use of facility equipment.
Perform housekeeping duties including laundering, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, spot cleaning carpets, and changing light bulbs.
Report observations concerning structural & equipment wear, defects & malfunctions to supervisor.
Perform or assist with kitchen duties as necessary.
Carry out special duties or projects as assigned.
