About The Position

We are seeking an AIDE to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the Twos and Toddlers classrooms. This role involves inspiring, encouraging, and celebrating a child's love of learning every day. You will work in beautifully equipped classrooms with support from knowledgeable staff, helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow. New Horizon Academy has been a leader in early care and education for over fifty years, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and advocating for childhood resources. The work is essential, focusing on the critical first five years of social and emotional brain development.

Requirements

• Be able to work full-time (Monday-Friday).
• Have a positive work ethic.
• Have a PASSION for working with children.
• Meet or exceed state qualifications for the listed position.
• Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
