This position assists the teacher with instructional needs as appropriate. The aide will support the preparation, implementation, and data collection of student academic, behavioral, and functional goals, accommodations, modifications, and delivery of supports. They will deliver accommodations, modifications, and other supports to students with special education services in whole group, small group, or individually, as described in the IEP. The aide will also assist teachers with classroom management and behavioral plans, maintain confidential student records, perform other duties as assigned, and handle other SHARS duties as assigned. Additionally, they will provide personal care as identified in applicable student IEPs.
