About The Position

This position involves providing specialized academic instruction support within the Groves Primary school. The role requires assisting professional staff with various duties to ensure the smooth operation of educational services for students requiring specialized attention. The position is for the 2026-27 School Year.

Requirements

• Paraprofessional Certification Training that meets NCLB requirements OR minimum two years of study at institution of higher learning (48 college hours) and/or Associate Degree required.
• Eligible for state Paraprofessional Certification or such alternatives as may be acceptable to the district.
• Documentation of Highly Qualified status.

Nice To Haves

• Educational Aide experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties for the professional staff
• Conduct learning reinforcement activities under the direction of the professional teacher
• Care for the personal, social, educational and health needs as required by professional staff
• Assist with and assume duties that will relieve professional staff
• Other duties as assigned by the principal
