About The Position
Assists the members of the Surgical Complex with duties which relate to patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 12, Manitoba Standards
- Health Care Aide certificate is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
- Works within the Centre's core values, philosophy, vision, C.Q.I. goals, policies and procedures.
- Adheres to the policy regarding personal health information.
- Able to work cooperatively with patients, visitors and coworkers.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing education and participates in professional activities for personal and professional growth.
- Physical health to meet the requirements of the position.
- Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
Nice To Haves
- CSRST certificate is an asset.
- Previous related experience preferred.
