About The Position

As a school bus monitor, you will assist the driver with the safe management of students onboard the vehicle. This may include assisting students as they enter and exit the vehicle, performing safety checks, leading emergency evacuations, and communicating behavior issues with parents and management, among other duties. Candidates must have experience working with children and undergo pre-employment testing. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity with a consistent part-time schedule, especially for ride share drivers, gig workers, retirees, stay-at-home parents, college students, or anyone who enjoys part-time work. The position offers opportunities for growth and advancement, part-time work during the school year (September through June) with options for extra or summer work, 20-25 hours per week with opportunities for extra hours, paid snow days, and a flexible work schedule.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication skills
• At least 19 years old
• Ability to work with people in a positive manner and manage student behavior in a non-confrontational manner
• Be subject to a background check, drug screen & physical performance test
• Ability to handle manage vehicle and student emergencies in calm, appropriate manner
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule
• Must be eligible to work in the US without restrictions.
