About The Position

FGF Brands is undergoing a significant transformation, and this role is central to embedding AI into daily operations to enhance team efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks. The AI Workflow Engineer acts as a force multiplier, empowering teams with AI tools and intelligent systems. This position is crucial for FGF Brands' Digital and AI Transformation, sitting at the nexus of technology and operations. Embedded within a team and reporting to the Digital & AI Transformation Lead, with a secondary reporting line to the Functional Head, the AI Workflow Engineer will identify and implement AI-driven solutions to automate, augment, and redesign workflows. This is a hands-on role focused on building practical, human-centered AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing operations, rather than a traditional IT function.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a business analysis, operations, process improvement, or technology implementation role.
  • Hands-on experience working with AI tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, automation tools, workflow builders such as Power Automate, Zapier, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of business processes and comfort working within a functional business team (not just IT).
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in how AI can solve real operational problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise platforms relevant to the assigned department (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP,)
  • Experience working with operational data or process-heavy environments (e.g., supply chain, manufacturing, finance operations)
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM-based tools, or AI governance concepts.
  • Background in change management or user adoption.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, CPG, or food industry environment.

Responsibilities

  • Map existing departmental processes to identify automation opportunities, bottlenecks, and high-effort manual tasks.
  • Design and prototype AI-assisted workflows that reduce friction and improve output quality.
  • Partner with process owners to document current-state and future-state workflows.
  • Deploy and configure AI tools (e.g., generative AI, intelligent automation, ML-assisted decision tools) within the department's operational context.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP, BDC, Databricks, productivity suites).
  • Customize prompts, workflows, and tool configurations to meet departmental needs.
  • Train department team members on new AI-powered tools and workflows.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for AI questions, use case ideation, and troubleshooting within the team they support.
  • Champion responsible AI use, including data privacy, accuracy checks, and appropriate human oversight.
  • Work closely with the central Digital & AI Transformation team to align on standards, tools, and governance frameworks.
  • Share learnings, reusable workflow components, and best practices across the network of embedded AI Engineers.
  • Escalate complex technical or ethical issues to the appropriate central team.
  • Monitor AI workflow performance and iterate based on team feedback and outcome data.
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools and methodologies relevant to the team's function.
  • Proactively identify the next wave of automation opportunities as the department matures.
