OpusClip is seeking a hands-on AI Video Editor who lives at the intersection of creative instinct and technical craft. This role is for an editor who can take raw, broken, or AI-generated clips and turn them into something undeniably polished and fast. Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in video editing and motion design.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar tools.
- Experience working with AI video tools and understanding their capabilities and limitations.
- Strong sense of pacing, visual polish, and narrative.
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments and with ambiguity.
- Ability to treat iteration as a feature, not a bug.
- Willingness to start over without being precious about edits.
Responsibilities
- Transform AI-generated clips into high-quality demo, marketing, and ad videos, rebuilding rough or broken footage.
- Combine AI outputs with motion graphics, compositing, and traditional editing techniques.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on demos for product and marketing, shipping, getting feedback, and iterating within the same day.
- Help define and refine AI-assisted video production workflows.
- Produce manual video edits to serve as references for training OpusClip's AI agent.
