About The Position

SFS is seeking an innovative and results-driven AI Transformation Lead. As AI Transformation Lead for North America, you will play a key role in accelerating the adoption of AI and data-driven solutions across all SFS segments (Automotive, Medical, Distribution & Logistics, Fastening Systems). Operating at the intersection of business and technology, you will work directly with business unit leaders to identify high-impact opportunities and translate them into practical, deployed solutions. You will act as the bridge between the Corporate AI Hub and North America, ensuring alignment while driving local execution, speed, and tangible business impact. The role reports directly to the Head of Technology of the SFS Group, part of the worldwide team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in building and deploying AI, automation, or data-driven solutions in a business environment.
  • Hands-on experience with modern tools (e.g., GenAI platforms, APIs, automation tools, data workflows)
  • Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end solutions (idea → prototype → implementation)
  • Experience in cross-functional environments, translating business needs into practical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with high ownership and execution focus

Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of AI and automation solutions across North America.
  • Deliver measurable impact through deployed use cases (efficiency, productivity, quality).
  • Build a strong pipeline of initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Accelerate adoption by enabling teams through hands-on training and collaboration.
  • Ensure alignment between Corporate AI strategy and local execution.
  • Establish a scalable model through local champions and power users.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop high-value use cases in close collaboration with business leaders.
  • Translate business challenges into functional prototypes and scalable applications
  • Build, test, and deploy AI, automation, and data-driven solutions hands-on.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for AI initiatives in North America.
  • Deliver practical workshops and training, enabling teams through real use cases.
  • Drive a fast iteration approach (test, learn, refine) to accelerate results.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and sustainable.
  • Maintain strong alignment and feedback loops with the Corporate AI Hub.
  • Develop and support a network of local key users and power users.
