AI Technical Project Manager
About The Position
Los Angeles based Internet Brands is seeking a Technical Project Manager with AI / data science experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is a project manager with a perfect mix of prioritization genius and organization prowess, who has great experience working on AI / data science related projects and wants to continue to grow in that direction. Five days a week in the office with your project team motivates you. You see the big picture, you quickly recognize what it takes to achieve it, and you drive results. While you know all of the methodologies, tools and tricks of the trade, you know that reaching the right outcomes is far more important than an obsession with status reports. Your role is to keep things moving, avoiding bureaucracy and bottlenecks. People love working with you because you engage all the right players and you know how to get stuff done.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a software technical project manager role, or equivalent experience leading distributed development teams.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with projects involving AI / data science.
- Understanding of project processes (scheduling, documentation, risk analysis, requirements gathering, and contingency planning).
- Deep understanding of the development process, including development, testing, and deployment, as well as work breakdown, dependencies, responsibilities (full SDLC) and AGILE/SCRUM methodologies.

- Consumer-facing web or health-related company experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Management of AI / data science, analytics, and web-related projects
- Work with multiple disciplines to effectively drive projects from concept to launch
- Scope, define, and document tasks to fulfill the project vision
- Develop and communicate project roadmaps
- Keep business owners up to date on project status and potential issues
- Resolve project, design, or resource issues before they cause delays
