About The Position

Serv, a global executive recruitment partner, is hiring on behalf of our client Martell Ventures for an AI Technical Lead. Martell Ventures exists to build people, brands, and ventures that create meaningful impact. Across four companies, they combine audience, operators, and execution to launch scalable products and empower ambitious leaders in Media, B2B SaaS, and AI. This role sits at the center of product creation and execution. As the AI Technical Lead, you will translate real-world recruiting problems into scalable AI solutions and take full ownership of building a SaaS product from the ground up. Working closely with a commercially proven Business Leader, you will operate with speed, autonomy, and clarity to bring a validated concept to life and scale it into a high-impact venture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience shipping SaaS products
  • Experience as a founding engineer or technical co-founder
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping with LLMs, agents, and modern AI tooling
  • Proven ability to operate independently in early-stage, ambiguous environments
  • Strong execution mindset with a bias for speed and delivery
  • Full-time commitment with in-office presence in Kelowna after initial period

  • Experience leading a product that achieved revenue under your technical leadership
  • Prior exposure to or success within Dan Martell’s network or programs
  • Strong product intuition informed by direct customer interaction

Responsibilities

  • Taking a validated product concept and building it into a functional, scalable SaaS product
  • Shipping an initial product version quickly using modern AI tooling and frameworks
  • Building only customer-driven features based on validated demand and paid use cases
  • Owning architecture, code quality, performance, and security from day one
  • Converting early concierge-style delivery into productized software solutions
  • Supporting customer demos, integrations, and technical escalations
  • Establishing engineering standards and preparing the foundation for future hires
  • Collaborating closely with the Business Leader to ensure product aligns with what has been sold
